The collected VI
The collected VI
This artwork is part of THE COLLECTED series.
A large-format still life centred around a single flowering branch, unfolding across a deep, layered ground.
Delicate red blossoms emerge from restrained, dark tones, creating a quiet tension between fragility and strength.
The surface carries visible traces of process and time. Layers of egg tempera, pigments and ash form a weathered, atmospheric background, against which the branch appears both anchored and fleeting.
Subtle shifts of grey, blue and earthy tones allow the composition to breathe, while the red accents introduce rhythm and presence.
Like all works in THE COLLECTED, this piece reflects a slower way of seeing — attentive, material-driven and contemplative.
